213 PMKS in N. Jakarta Netted Throughout January-April

Lack of Personnel, PMKS Continued to Roam in West JakartaAdditionally, the officers of Social Service, Supervision and Control (P3S) for Social Department are deployed to secure some PMKS-prone areas, such as Mambo intersection, Hailai Ancol and Atma Jaya Penjaringan.
“The officers will on standby in 3 shifts (morning, afternoon, until night). We do this continuously by doing sweeping along protocol roads, except Kelapa Gading area due to it is residential area,” he told.
Simarmata added, his sub-department also does picking up from police side and public reports regarding PMKS. The netted PMKS then brought to the Bina Instan Bangun Daya I and II Social Institutions which located in Cipinang and Kedoya, to be guided.
“While for sex workers, they placed to the Bina Karya Wanita Kedoya Social Institution
to be given skills,” he disclosed.
